Fragile Doll~by Karen King

Fragile Doll

I am your fragile doll,
My vacant eyes search
Endlessly over the ocean.
Unfeeling, unbelieving.

I am your fragile doll,
My ears are buried
under the sand.
Drowning in deafness.

I am your fragile doll,
My mouth is burning,
As fearsome flames
Flash between us.

I am your fragile doll,
My nose can breathe
New, fresh air
As you heal me.
