I am God’s Child

Who else do I have in heaven
Only You, whatever may happen
Your Kingdom, to me, You open
Patiently guiding, as I’m lost often

Only You, more than anything on this world
My desire to understand your Holy Word
Devil may have upon my head, hung a sword
Your love has strengthened the safety cord

My health may fail, my spirit may grow weak
Your light shine on my world that became bleak
Your power ever strong, though men see You meek
Only Your protection and guidance I seek

God, You remain strength of my heart
The Healer and Shield every time I am hurt
Created from Your image right from start
From all my sides You will never part

I am Your beloved child forever
You care not my clothes filthy and tattered
You cleansed my soul with Your Living Water
With me inside You, nothing else matter
