A wide pasture
of nothingness:
damp and gloom.
Try a stand;
loosening sand
sinks my feet.
Vigorous struggling
still not helps.
While my mind
acts same.
Alzheimer’s
they all claim!
I never meant to
forget but out of habit
I do forget.
Forgive I plea…
Do not leave
my mind of presence.
Yet they all left
And
Memoir-
even you leave.
Words by words
vanishing
through my veins.
My nerves ache
bleeding & oozing.
But
not even my shadow
stays.
Then you’re but
just
My memory…
