Modernisation
I remain untouched,
Though the waves are getting closer,
I can feel my legs crumbling down,
Signalling the losing nature,
But I remain untouched.
Modernisation you call it,
A strong wave causing damage,
Society keeping a blind eye,
Feeling oppressed but no choice,
Still I remain untouched.
Untouched I am and always will be,
Proud of the ancient me,
Ignoring the tides around me,
Merging forward like an isolationist,
I remain untouched.
