A BIRTH

Immediately after his birth
A baby,stood up
And took seven steps forward,
At each step a lotus flower
Bloomed open to bear
His bare feet.
Then came his announcement,
“I am the chief of all the worlds
I have no equal
I am the supreme
This is my last birth “.
Thus happened the birth ,on a
Full moon day
In the month of May,two-
Thousand and six hundred
Years ago.
Kondonna ,an eighteen year old
Astrologer said with certainty,
“This baby will be none
Other than a Budha “
