Lines Rhymed: A Poet Wronged~by Kanchan Bhattacharya

Lines Rhymed: A Poet Wronged

Poetry needs a conversational style

Gone are my whims and fancies; poems on file

Dreaded cryptograms; idiosyncrasies

A chapter laced in mystic threads- disease,

Just obsessions with heaving breasts beneath

Clothes; indecent feelings; lecherous sheaths

For long they stare harshly, coveting verse

Irreverence, kisses, seduction; curse

Poems are a play; exhaled, let out from sleep

Whispering memories, subconscious deep

Words dancing; sunbeams streaking in a pool

Images; kisses; sex; moods; threads on spools

Magically plagiarized phrases, lines

Just divine rights, steal, publish before mine…
