Daily missive breaks into the weekend Saturday the 12th of November.

Bathe in obscurity
Dance among the shadows
But beware,
There is vanity in denial.
Be wary of embarrassment
And fearful of success.
Embrace change
As an equal opportunity
To learn.
Do not be afraid
Of difference
It is too easy to follow
A well-trodden path
To prejudice.
It is lazy ignorance
A correlation of
Illusion
And can breed a delusion
Of mastery,
When true artistry
Is understanding
Moral complexity
And keeping it simple.
If you fear
To stand out
But dislike the crowd
And its expectation
Of agreement
Plough your own furrow.
It will be a truer reflection
Of you
And as a result
Other people
Of a similar view
May just find
It in their hearts to follow.
And come the dawn
Of spring, re-birth
And the herald’s call
Of a new tomorrow,
You might be the first swallow
To make
The whole of summer
Better.
